Getting started

1. Account & credits

Sign in at cosmiq.studio . Every account has credits that are spent on generation:

• Image generation costs credits per render.
• Video generation costs more (longer / higher-res = more).
• Building a board without generating (writing prompts, placing reference images) is free — you only pay when you click Generate.

Your plan sets a monthly credit limit; usage is shown in your profile.

2. Boards

A board is an infinite canvas where you build and generate. Everything you make lives on a board: prompt nodes, reference images, generated images and videos, all wired together. It is the one unit you work in.

Create a board per project, post, drop or client and build freely on it. Make as many as you like.

3. Your first generation

1. Open (or create) a board.
2. Add a prompt node and describe the shot — be specific about subject, scene, lighting, mood and aspect ratio.
3. Connect it to a Cosmiq Image node and click Generate.
4. Refine: edit the prompt and regenerate, or swap the model / aspect ratio.

Tip — use a reference. Drop a real product photo onto the canvas and wire it into the image node as a reference. Then the prompt only describes the scene, and Cosmiq keeps your actual product (label, shape, colors) intact. See Product shots.
